Hi Geoff, Where is main.exe file to run as you have explained to madmax, sorry I am confused to run the bluechart pacific. What is bluechart pacific? I followed the link you gave above and got Garmin XT 4.20.50wp with Australia and New Zealand City Navigator NT 2010 10 map to work.
Garmin MapSource BlueChart CD-ROM for Garmin GPS Units, Americas (010-10317-00) by Unknown. Garmin BlueChart Unlock Certificate (Pacific Single Region) by Garmin. Garmin provides highly detailed offshore marine maps. BlueChart g2 Vision and BlueChart g2 give you detailed offshore marine maps to help you navigate.
Now this bluechart pacific is that an add-on or is this new map. I would be greteful, if you could please give this layman a bit more information on the matter. Cheers, and sorry to bother you all again. Life is an Adventure, Dare it! It's fairly easy to get it to work. Firstly you have to use the keygen, with the same unit id you used to get the road maps going.
Now instead of using 2006 in the custom mapset, use 256. It will give you a 25 character code which you use in 'Utilities/unlock maps.

From there you pick the area you want (In my case Eden to Portland) From there you go to 'Tranfer/send to device' with the card in your reader, and it's in. When you run Garmin, go to 'Tools/Manage My Data/Map Sets' On the bottom right you will see 'Mapsource' Untick your road map and tick your bluechart Pacific 9.5 map. Your device will then use the bluechart map.
You won't be able to navigate as you do with the road map, but it does work.
